Self supported tower :
Self supported tower are called to the towers which are tripod or four pod and have legs with connected rafters.
Self-supported towers are made from cornerstone pipe and cornerstone.
The main legs are from corner stone, which depends on the towers designing. From seamed or non-seamed. The internal parts include horizontals, redundant and,….. are type of cornerstone .
The tripod self-supported tower are towers in the form of lattice and they have tripod. Legs mainly internal parts in form of rafter made from cornerstone. In constructing the legs from cornerstone 60-degree angle cornerstone, rebar and filled bars also used. Internal parts includes braces from cornerstone , pipe these type of towers are used for installing microwave, mobile networks and wireless antenna.
The communication towers produced by this company are as following:

The communication towers produced by this company are as following:
- Self supports tripod towers all cornerstone to 120 m height
- Self-supported tripod pipe and cornerstone with 120 m height
- Manufacturing accessories, materials and needs connectors of towers and communication systems.
Application:
- Installation of Microwave Antenna
- Installation of Mobile Antenna
- Installation of Wireless Antenna
Construction method:
First , the cornerstones are screwed , then they are connected together b high resisted bolts 8.8-109 , in some cases for providing the connection condistion the lateral plates are used.
For creating 60 degree angle in self supported tower all cornerstone tripod are could use two methods.
The first method: with exercising mechanical force on the main leg cornerstone we could the angle between wings from 90 degrees to 60 degrees then connected the parts.
The second method: bending cornerstone at first method, lead to creating of frame microwave on them, finally for the removing of these disadvantages for connectivity Internal cornerstones to main legs , we could use in the bending place from connecting plates circumference of equilateral triangle .
Advantages :
- removing welding disadvantages
- possibility for checking and inspection all parts of tower
- remove of pipe, and using cornerstone in high humid regions will be effective.
Warn: by reason of consideration of communication standards, utilizing raw material and high grade and manufacturing best quality communication towers, The Iran Dakal company as Manufacturer of communication towers in Iran, which is authorized and confirmed by entities, organizations and Governmental and private Enterprises. Some individuals and private companies in order to selling their low grade and non-standard products , they have been abusing the name and Brand of Iran Dakal. Then, we would like to ask our customers at the time of inquiry and purchase do their best for consideration.
Disadvantages:
- changing tower resistance features by reason of existing 60 degree bend in main leg.
- Difficulties while installing the tower, by reason of blow space in angle 60 degree.
- Table of in specification:
- The communication towers produced by this company are as following:
- Self supports tripod towers all cornerstone to 120 m height
- Self-supported tripod pipe and cornerstone with 120 m height
- Manufacturing accessories, materials and needs connectors of towers and communication systems.
